THE BLACK CAT

This Michael Jordan portrait was commissioned by Nike to run along with an article about the release of the Jordan 13 retro. This was the second time I attempted the collage style. It was challenging, but I had a lot of fun figuring out how to make the likeness work. Kinda like doing a jigsaw puzzle. After completing this one and seeing it in print, I was hooked, and the idea to make as many of these as possible was born.
